For the 1964 model year, Chevrolet produced a whopping 370,834 Chevelle passenger cars; of all variants. One type, however, particularly sticks out. The elusive Chevelle 300 2-door wagon; of that whopping number, Chevrolet only produced 2,710 examples. And OF THAT, only 1,101 of those were factory V8 cars. That's less than 1/3 of 1% of total production for the year. This being one of those 1,101 cars makes this wagon particularly special and hard to come by.
After having undergone a complete frame-up restoration in the mid-200s, this 300 wagon has been refinished in a spectacular Viper Red; contrasting against the black interior, giving it the perfect vibe for a cruise down Pacific Coast Highway.
Power comes from a built Art Carr 400 V8 engine mated to a Turbo 200R 4-speed automatic transmission. Inside you'll be afforded all of the creature comforts, including: fuel injection, power steering, Wilwood power disc brakes, and air conditioning.
On the outside, you'll be set off against the rest in classic styled wheels from one of the greats, Boyd Coddington.
