This Ford F-250 4x4 "Highboy" marks the best Ford had to offer in 1973. As a top of the line Ranger XLT packaged rig, it included everything found in the Custom and Ranger packaged trucks like: bright interior and exterior moldings like: windshield, drip rail and window trim; and bright rocker panel and wheel lip moldings. In addition to various comfort upgrades, Ranger XLT package trucks came standard with the Convenience Group: cargo, engine, glove compartment and ash tray lights.
A California native at heart; this truck has never left the Golden State. Ordered on July 11th, 1972 and sold new by Carmenita Ford Trucks of Santa Fe Springs on October 4th of the same year, this 1st year Dentside Highboy represents 1 of only 14 made in Bahama Blue Metallic over Wimbledon White paint in Ranger XLT trim for the '73 model year.
