1978 Ford F-150 4x4 Ranger Short Bed

Originating from the State of Nevada, this 1978 Ford F-150 Ranger package factory 4x4 offers many desirable options from the handsome two-year only '78/'79 body styles, wrapped up into one small wheel base package. Comparatively speaking, Ford produced very few short bed pickups to that of the traditional 8-foot kind. And in 4x4 form, those figures were considerably less.

As an original paint pickup, this girl has all the glory of her former days. A clean example to be enjoyed right out of the gate with some surprising options from the factory.

After spending her initial days across State Line, this truck has since remained in the dry climate of Southern California. Acquired in early 2021, the truck received a full tune up on her 351 V8 engine, new wheels and tires, and new Black Widow branded exhaust amongst a few other odds and ends.

Power from the powerful 351 V8 is supported by a 4-speed manual transmission; perfect for off-road use in 4x4 form. The factory Cinnamon Glow offers a terrific luster during daylight, training the eye to see its browns, coppers and oranges. Hell, you might even see some lemons.
