It's the end of an era folks. The OBS Ford Truck. Quite possibly the greatest generation of Ford Trucks since, well, Ford introduced their F-Series line for the 1948 model year. The culmination of collectability, found in the everlasting 7.3 Direct Injection Power Stroke Turbocharged Diesel engine. Talk about a workhorse. Combined with arguably one of the most handsome interiors in recent decades, the 1992-1997 Ford Trucks have become timeless in every sense of the phrase. 

Our 1996 Regular Cab XLT pickup would even make granny cry. An exceptionally desirable color combination of Deep Blue Metallic over Blue Metallic, the factory original paint presents terrifically from front to back, just like Grandpa used to hit it: front to back, back to front: who cares!

Body panels, interior appoints and undercarriage are all in great shape for the age. But let's talk about the recent maintenance and upgrades, because it's a laundry of lists: newly installed Tuff Country 2.5" lift kit, Bilstein 5100 Series shocks front and rear, new BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 Tires (285/75R16), Alcoa wheels and lugnuts, refurbished/upholstered factory steering wheel, floor mats, and stainless Bully side steps were added for easier entry and exit.

Mechanically, the truck has been issued a new starter, glow plug relay and recharged air conditioning. Additional servicing from former ownership includes: recently rebuilt transmission, injector replacement, new brake pads and rotors, newer alternator and dual batteries, and serpentine belt. All fluids have recently been serviced including oil change and filter.

Our truck was built on January 11th, 1996 and sold new by Canby Ford Inc. of Canby, Oregon on February 20th, 1996. And there's no question about the desirability of options and color. In fact, this truck represents 1 of only 125 F-250 4x4 Regular Cab pickups sold in '96 in this set of colors and trim.  

A clean CARFAX also shows no history of damage, and continued ownership along the west coast, providing credence to the truck's overall condition. She's about as ready to go as your next door neighbor.
